Dustin Bradley is an owner of RiverCity Plumbing and a Jacksonville native with more than 15 years in the plumbing trade. He has been involved in more than 4,000 plumbing projects, and brings working knowledge of residential, commercial, septic, water treatment, drainage and construction plumbing systems throughout Jacksonville and Northeast Florida.
Dustin holds three Florida contractor credentials: Certified Plumbing Contractor CFC1429969, Certified Residential Contractor CRC1331407 and Master Septic Tank Contractor SM0252008. His additional training includes soil evaluation certification for the Florida DEP, Safety Zone water treatment certification, Norweco, Delta Whitewater and Fuji Clean septic certifications, and OSHA certification.
Over his career Dustin has worked across nearly every area of plumbing: drain cleaning and hydro jetting, sewer repair and replacement, whole-house repiping, leak detection, tank and tankless water heaters, septic and well systems, cast iron and underground plumbing, new construction, commercial work and remodeling.
His work goes beyond the field. Dustin supervises technicians, diagnoses complex plumbing problems, estimates projects, reviews completed work, helps with plumbing system design, works through local permitting and inspections, and helps train RiverCity Plumbing's technicians.
As a lifelong Jacksonville resident, he has first-hand experience with the problems common to Northeast Florida properties: aging cast iron drains, slab leaks, hard water, septic systems, high groundwater, corrosion, well systems, and the plumbing quirks of both older Jacksonville homes and new construction.
Dustin was drawn to plumbing because it combines skilled craftsmanship with problem-solving. He likes finding out why a system failed, not just treating the symptom, and building a repair that fixes the underlying problem. His approach is simple: find the root cause, give customers honest options, do the work right the first time, and recommend solutions built to last.
The lesson he learned early and still applies on every call: the symptom a homeowner sees isn't always the actual problem. A clog doesn't automatically mean a new sewer line, and a leak doesn't automatically mean a whole-house repipe. Sometimes a simple repair is the right answer. But clearing a damaged sewer over and over isn't fixing it, and one more repair on an aging piping system doesn't change the condition of the rest of it. He doesn't believe in automatically selling the biggest job, or in calling something fixed when it's only the symptom that was treated.
Dustin writes and reviews RiverCity Plumbing's articles from his field notes, with research and drafting help from the team, to help Jacksonville-area property owners understand their plumbing systems, common local problems, repair options, preventive maintenance and when to call a professional.
